This English Anvil Westminster chime clock was first purchased in 1934. I got a hold of it around 1977, made some minor repairs, cleaned and oiled it for resale but my father, who had come to live with us, feel in love with it so I gave it to him. He had it until 1979 when he passed away and I have had it in storage ever since. There is a plaque on it that states it was a gift to a Mr. C. Tatnall upon his retirement on June 30, 1934 in Dublin Ireland. The company he worked for no longer exists. I have searched for a descendant that might like to have the heirloom with no luck. I was going to take it with me on a trip to Ireland to give it to a family member but never found one. You will love the quarter hour and  hourly chimes of this beautiful clock.  The movement and case is in excellent condition.
