This 1920's English tambour style clock has beautiful Westminster chimes. 4 notes at the quarter hour increasing by 4 each quarter hour until 16 are struck on the hour along with the correct hour chime. It has a silent lever which allows you to turn off the chimes. Upon reactivation, the chimes automatically adjust to the correct time. The movement is stamped “Foreign” which means that it was produced in Germany. The case is oak veneer and is in excellent condition.
